The following points should be noted when using compensating wires:
(1) Each compensating wire can only be used with the corresponding type of thermocouple. That is, the thermoelectric characteristics of each thermocouple and the compensating wire must be the same within the specified temperature range (0~100℃).
(2) The temperature of the connection point between the compensating wire and the thermocouple must not exceed the specified operating temperature.
(3) When connecting the compensating wire to the thermocouple and instruments, the positive and negative terminals must not be connected incorrectly, and both pairs of connection points must be at the same temperature.
(4) The wire diameter of the compensating wire should be selected according to the circuit resistance requirements of the instrument being used.
