Sharp Tip Splits High-Speed Flow

We design this pointed thermowell for high-velocity pipes and deep insertion applications. The tip has a tapered point with common angles of 30°, 45°, or 60°. Most fluid pipes use the 60° gentle point for best flow splitting. We make this product using two methods. For high pressure, we drill solid bar stock to create a thick root with no welds. For low pressure, we use seamless tube necking to reduce cost. Both processes rely on our 21 years of metalworking experience. Every product goes through our strict quality system. The pointed shape sends fluid to both sides when steam, water, or gas moves fast. This stops direct impact on the tube wall and reduces erosion significantly.

Faster Response and Less Clogging

This pointed thermowell gives you fast temperature feedback in demanding conditions. The thin tip wall transfers heat quickly, so you see temperature changes without long delays. The smooth cone surface does not collect dust or water condensation. This reduces clogging and keeps your readings accurate. In power plant steam lines and chemical high-pressure pipes, the product outperforms flat-tip products by a large margin. It also goes deep into tanks, silos, and ducts to measure the real center temperature. Our monthly output reaches 100,000 to 200,000 pieces, so we handle bulk orders easily. We can also speed up urgent orders with overtime shifts. You can choose 304 for general use, 316L for trace chlorides, or 310S for high heat up to 1000℃.

We offer many custom choices for this pointed thermowell. Choose the point angle based on your media speed and pipe direction. Mounting can be thread, flange, or weld base. We work from your drawing or sample. Custom product samples take 3 to 30 days. For OEM and ODM clients, our engineering team helps from design to mass production. Each product gets bubble wrap and rust-proof paper before packing in export cartons or wooden cases. We support EXW, FOB, and DDP terms. Payment is 30% deposit and 70% before shipping.
